  • Standard Consignor makes a 60% commission on their sales. As a VIP Consignor, you would make 35% of your sales. You will be charged a $20.00 VIP Consignor fee (taken out of your Consignor check – you don’t pay it up front).

  • If you want to Consign your nice items, but don't have time for consigning process, our VIP Program is your solution!

  • A VIP Processor will gather, prep, tag, enter, and deliver your items to our upcoming event! You'll still earn a Private Pre-Sale Pass.

Can I Do Both VIP and Standard Consigning?

Absolutely! You can split your items between VIP and Standard Consigning. For example, maybe you want to get the baby gear and furniture out of your house right away, but you would rather price and prepare your clothing and shoes yourself. You can do that! Or maybe you need the extra closet space now but aren’t quite ready to part with the toys. That’s okay, too. VIP gives you flexibility and allows you to choose which items you want to handle yourself and which items you’d like us to take care of.

Do I Have to Pay the VIP Fee Up Front?

No! The one-time $20 VIP participation fee is deducted from your consignor check at the end of the sale. There is nothing to pay when you sign up.

How Do I Receive My Check?

Your consignor check will be emailed to you on or before Consignor Pick-Up Day. If you are donating all of your unsold items, you do not need to come to the venue on Pick-Up Day.

How Do I Get My Pre-Sale Shopping Pass?

Your Pre-Sale pass will be handed to you by your VIP processor or mailed.

What Happens to Items That Don’t Sell?

You have two options for your unsold VIP items: Pick them up: You can pick up your unsold items during the designated Consignor Pick-Up times immediately following the event. Donate them: You can choose to donate eligible unsold items after the sale. Your VIP Processor is not responsible for returning unsold items. If you choose to keep your unsold items, you must pick them up during the designated Pick-Up times. Items that are not picked up during the designated Pick-Up period will be donated promptly after the final Pick-Up time. Please note: VIP items do not qualify for the Item Guarantee program. Large furniture items and car seats cannot be donated and must be picked up if they do not sell.

What Items Should I Send With My VIP Processor?

We love receiving great-quality baby and kids’ items, including: Baby gear, Toys, Books, Maternity items, Clothing, Shoes, Furniture and Clothing. All clothing must be freshly washed, clean, odor-free, and free of pet hair. Please check clothing carefully for: Stains, Holes, Excessive wear, Missing buttons and Broken zippers. If items have been stored for a long time, please take a moment to look them over and make sure they are still current, clean, and in excellent condition. Shoes Shoes must be clean and in excellent condition. Car Seats Car seats must be very clean. Car seats with stains, food, dirt, or other significant messes will not be accepted. Outfits If you are sending an outfit with multiple pieces, please fold the pieces together so your VIP Processor knows which items belong together. Battery-Operated Items Any item that requires batteries must have working batteries and all necessary parts in order to be accepted.

What Happens if My Items Don’t Meet Rhea Lana’s Standards?

Please carefully inspect your items before sending them to your VIP Processor. Items that do not meet Rhea Lana’s quality standards—including stained or damaged clothing, dirty shoes, excessive wear, out-of-season items, items that do not work, or items we cannot accept—will be donated by your Processor and will not be returned to you. Our VIP Processors have limited storage space and are not able to set aside rejected items for later return.

How Should I Package My Items for My Processor?

Please use boxes or bags when delivering your items to your VIP Processor. Containers used to deliver your items will not be returned. Your Processor may also use those containers to store your items until the event. Please choose containers you are comfortable leaving with your items.

Are There Item Limits?

Yes. VIP Consignors follow the same item restrictions listed in the Standard Consignor FAQs. Each consignor number is limited to 400 items. If you have more than 400 items, an additional consignor code will need to be created, and the applicable new consignor fee will apply. All shoes must be clean and in excellent condition.

What Items Can’t We Accept?

We cannot accept:
Recalled items
Battery-operated toys, swings, bouncers, etc. that do not function
VHS tapes
Used underwear
Stuffed animals, with limited exceptions such as Build-A-Bear, talking or animated animals, well-known characters, or current/trending items
Items that are stained, torn, or excessively worn
Items with missing buttons, broken zippers, or missing parts
Bags of loose toys unless they are organized by theme, such as all Barbie items, cars and trucks, or army toys
Used bottle nipples
Used pacifiers

Do I Have to Donate My Unsold Items?

No. VIP Consignors can choose whether to pick up their eligible unsold items or donate them after the event. If you choose to keep your unsold items, you are responsible for picking them up during the designated Pick-Up times. VIP Processors will not pick up or return unsold items for you. Please remember that VIP items are not eligible for the Item Guarantee program. Large furniture items and car seats cannot be donated and must be picked up if they do not sell.

Do I Have to Pick Up My Tagged Items and Deliver Them to the Event?

No! That’s one of the biggest perks of VIP Consigning. Your VIP Processor will take care of getting your tagged items to the event for you. You simply get your items ready, deliver them to your Processor, and let them handle the rest. If you choose to have your unsold items returned instead of donated, you will need to pick them up at the end of the sale. Your VIP Processor will not be responsible for picking up unsold items or your consignor check.

Do I Need to Supply Hangers?

Yes. VIP Consignors are responsible for providing enough hangers for their hanging items. Wire hangers are not permitted. If you would prefer not to provide your own plastic hangers, we can supply them for $0.25 per hanger.
